Definition Programs that provide bagged breakfasts and lunches that can be picked up for children who normally are served these meals at school, provide state pandemic EBT benefits (P-EBT benefits) to households with children who have temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to pandemic-related school closures, or make other arrangements to ensure that children from low income families have sufficient food during the period of time that schools are closed unexpectedly, such during the COVID-19 crisis.
